NRHI Expands Network, Welcomes Kansas Healthcare Collaborative as State Partner
PORTLAND, ME – July 17, 2018 – The Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI), a national organization representing regional health collaboratives (RHICs) working in the pursuit of better health and high-quality affordable care, today announced a new addition to its membership network. Kansas Healthcare Collaborative (KHC) joins NRHI’s network as its newest state affiliated partner.
“Expanding our reach and engaging key partners are essential to achieve a higher quality, affordable healthcare system. We’re thrilled to have KHC on board as a state partner,” said Ellen Gagnon, interim CEO for NRHI. “KHC’s proven expertise in quality improvement will help our network further the work we’re collectively doing to improve health, reduce price, and eliminate waste systemwide.”
Formed in 2008 by the Kansas Hospital Association and Kansas Medical Society, KHC is a nonprofit dedicated to transforming healthcare through patient-centered initiatives that improve quality, safety, and value. KHC acts as a resource to continually enhance care across the state, and is the trusted source for relevant and meaningful healthcare quality improvement education, evaluation, and measurement.
“KHC is honored to be among NRHI’s esteemed colleagues as we work to improve healthcare quality and patient safety throughout Kansas. RHICs are in a position to act as a neutral and trusted resource, building relationships and bringing partners together to produce positive results in healthcare—results that are often impossible to achieve acting independently,” said KHC Executive Director, Kendra Tinsley.
The Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement is a national membership organization of regional health improvement collaboratives and partners representing more than 30 states and territories across the US. Our members work in and across their regions to collaborate and transform healthcare with the goal of achieving better health, and high-quality affordable care.
