The Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI), a leader in transforming U.S. health care through community-based, multi-stakeholder, public-private efforts, announced today that it has launched the NRHI Payment Reform Series. NRHI and its members have a long history of bringing all of the key stakeholders – physicians, hospitals, purchasers, payers, patients, and policy-makers – together to develop feasible reforms to payment systems that support higher quality, more affordable healthcare, including hosting national payment reform summits since 2007. This series, supported by funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), will consist of a group of papers that address a broad range of issues affecting multi-payer, multi-stakeholder efforts to change how care is paid for in regions and states across the country More
