The way we receive healthcare in the United States is broken, and as a result Americans are paying too much and are less healthy than other developed nations. In response to this crisis, the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI) has launched the Affordability movement to address the drivers impacting healthcare affordability – health improvement, price reduction, and waste elimination. Now, more than ever, it is critical for organizations to work together to change the system, and make it sustainable for current and future generations.
NRHI is proud to serve as a partner in the Pathways to Population Health (P2PH) initiative, a collaborative effort of five partnering organizations that are leveraging shared assets and strengths to help healthcare organizations accelerate their population health improvement efforts. P2PH provides a framework along with tested tools and resources to help organizations advance health, well-being, and equity in their communities. We are confident that these tools and resources can enhance efforts underway to address health improvement, one of the three drivers impacting healthcare affordability.
NRHI is rolling out a learning lab series to provide information on the initiative and how you can join health care change agents from across the US to share and improve together. The series will kick off on June 28th with an orientation to the work including an overview of a framework and the four portfolios of population health. Click here to register.
