Navigating a Complex Landscape to Support School Reopening – Special Event with Mara Aspinall – Public Event
On March 30th, we had an engaging conversation with leaders form Littleton and Atteleboro Public Schools in Massachusetts, hearing how they are implementing the state supported pooled testing program to support safe reopening of schools. Participants had many questions about how schools in other states could implement similar programs without the same level of support from their state. What other vendors are supporting pooled testing? What about other types of testing programs? How can schools navigate federal funding to support testing?
Join us on Thursday, April 15th to hear answers to these questions and more!
We will hear from Mara Aspinall, lead author of the K-12 National Testing Action Program: Connecting Schools with the Nation’s Leading Testing Companies to Safely Reopen. Mara will share details of this comprehensive resource developed in partnership by The Rockefeller Foundation and Health Catalysts Group to bring findings from school leaders, parents, advocates, labs and manufacturers who have come together to build, pilot and run a variety of programs for regular testing of students in schools.
