Collaboratives in Action: Responding to COVID-19 – Using Immunization Data to Identify Gaps in Care and to Inform Strategic Planning
Join us for a discussion about the importance of immunization data for public health, care providers, and health plans to understand the population’s vaccination rates and gaps in vaccinations.
From COVID-19 vaccinations to the general vaccine schedule, we will walk through the immunization data flow, availability, and gaps informing stakeholders on how data can be used proactively to support individual and populations.
We also have an opportunity to take a deeper dive into the California Quality Collaborative (CQC), a program of the Purchaser Business Group on Health, multi-stakeholder collaborative network to examine what they are seeing in data trends and to learn how they are preparing strategically and operationally for patients’ deferred care needs as the public health emergency sunsets.
CQC will highlight the impact of using statewide data to stimulate action with providers and to marshal resources from health plans and payers to address pediatric immunizations gaps.
