Collaboratives in Action: Responding to COVID-19 – Equitable Distribution of COVID-19 Vaccines
As the supply of COVID-19 vaccines increases, eligibility expands, and vaccines receive FDA approval, the challenges of structural inequities and vaccine readiness remain increasingly urgent obstacles to achieving local herd immunity.
To support partners in identifying and harvesting scalable strategies that enable equitable vaccine delivery at the local level, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), in partnership with Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI), has organized a learning collaborative comprised of five organizations taking a multi-sector and cross-sector approach to equitable vaccine delivery.
Join us on September 21st from 3 – 4 PM EST to learn how four of these organizations have overcome barriers to equitable vaccine distribution through establishing and leveraging local delivery systems, fostering trust of community members and partnering organizations, and harnessing data.
Our panel will include experts from:
- The Health Collaborative and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
- Parkland Hospital and Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation
- Health Improvement Partnership of Santa Cruz County
- Better Health Partnership
Specific speaker information is forthcoming.
Unless otherwise noted, all virtual NRHI events are hosted in Eastern Standard time.
