NRHI Seeks 30 Transparency Innovators for Invite Only Forum

What: Healthcare Transparency Innovators Forum

Through a national network of locally governed regional entities, the Center for Healthcare Transparency (CHT) will ensure that information on the relative cost and quality of healthcare services is available to 50 percent of the U.S. population by 2020. CHT is developing a five-year implementation plan to identify the resources, partnerships and infrastructure needed to achieve its vision. Part of this plan involves building a national network of entities to publicly report on quality, cost and patient experience in a consistent way across the US.

About the Event
On October 8th and a half-day the 9th,  CHT will bring together 30 transparency innovators (all expenses paid) with experience accessing, managing, analyzing and privately or publicly reporting healthcare data. A Welcome Reception will be held the evening of the 7th.

The purpose of the Forum is to gather feedback on CHT’s draft implementation plan and to identify possible candidates to participate in CHT’s proposed network and national strategy for transparency. The event will include plenary sessions lead by innovation leaders and smaller working groups for deeper discussion.

Who Should Apply?
Those interesting in applying will need to fill out a brief application. Applications are due July 1st and can be emailed to . 30 applicants will be selected and notified July 10th. All travel and accommodations will be fully funded by CHT. Applicants should be leaders of multi-stakeholder or public organizations or initiatives that currently publicly report physician or medical practice level quality, cost, and/or patient experience information in their regions and states; or that expect to have this capability in the next two to four years.
