History of NRHI
The Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement was founded in 2004 and 2005 by seven of the leading Regional Health Improvement Collaboratives at the time:
- The California Cooperative Healthcare Reporting Initiative
- The California Quality Collaborative
- The Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement
- Massachusetts Health Quality Partners
- Minnesota Community Measurement
- The Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative
- The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, and the California HealthCare Foundation provided generous funding support to help NRHI formalize its organizational structure, hire staff, and develop programs to support its members and improve healthcare quality.
