In this module in the Reducing Unnecessary Utilization series, Lisa Tuttle from Maine Quality Counts and Sue Butts-Dion, Independent Improvement Advisor, will lead a discussion on the importance of addressing access to specialty and sub-specialty care services to improve rates of unnecessary Emergency Department Visits. This event will feature TCPi National Faculty Carol Greenlee, MD, who has over 30 years of experience as a clinical endocrinologist working in both urban and rural settings. Carol will be joined by other practitioners who will share their experiences and resources for improving access issues and avoiding unnecessary ED use.
